Step 1. Admission Program
Read the areas of training that are being implemented at RSHU. Decide in advance which option will be most convenient for you.

Step 3. Making an invitation
Documents for issuing an invitation
- Copy of the passport with a notarized translation into Russian. Attention! the validity period of the passport must be at least 2 years from the planned date of entry;
- Copy of the educational documents with all suppliments and a notarized translation into Russian;
- Completed APPLICATION FORM and valid email address.

If you live in the territory of the Russian Federation, then you can apply to the Institute of International Education of the RSHU in person or send it to us by an e-mail visa@rshu.ru or ums@rshu.ru .
Step 4. Obtaining a student visa
Invitations are issued only in electronic form and sent to the Embassy/ The Consulate of the Russian Federation in your country. The deadline for issuing an invitation is 1 month
attention: The invitation is NOT issued to citizens of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova.
After receiving a notification from the University that the invitation is ready, you should contact the Embassy/ The Consulate of the Russian Federation for obtaining a study visa. You can find out the list of necessary documents for obtaining a visa directly at the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation.
After obtaining a visa we recommend checking the correct spelling of the installation data (First name, Last name and passport data), their complete coincidence with the spelling in the invitation, as well as checking the name of the University — Russian State Hydrometeorological University.
Step 5. Arrival in the Russian Federation
15 days before the planned arrival inform us about the date and details of your arrival by sending to cmo@rshu.ru and visa@rshu.ru copies of the visa and ticket for unhindered entry through the checkpoints of the Russian Federation.
If it is necessary to transfer the legalization of educational documents, we recommend that you contact the website of the National Information Center.
Come to the Institute of International Education of the RSHU (98 Malookhtinsky Prospekt) to process all documents, conclude an education agreement, and arrange medical insurance.
Bring a passport, a migration card, 4 photos 3.5×4.5, and educational documents with you.
Admission to the University takes place AFTER payment of educational services in accordance with the Contract.
The purchase of student medical insurance is carried out at the expense of the student.
Step 6. Enrollment
After successfully passing the entrance test and paying tuition, the applicant is enrolled in the RSHU.
Foreign citizens who have not passed the entrance tests, at their request, can be enrolled in training in The program of pre-university training.
