ACADEMIC MOBILITY

In accordance with the application start dates, you will need to provide the required list of documents.

The deadlines for submission and the list of documents depend on the host university and are registered on the official websites of universities in the sections Exchange students/Visiting students/Incoming students/Bilateral agreements.

Please note that major at a foreign university should correspond to your direction at RSHU. The curriculum at the partner university must be coordinated with its dean’s office.

  1. Application form with personal data, available on the university’s website;
  2. Transcript of records – to obtain a document, you need to contact the Institute of International Education by submitting an academic certificate with a list of grades for all sessions.
  3. The list of selected disciplines/curriculum (Learning agreement) is a list of subjects that you plan to study. It is necessary to draw up a study program yourself in advance, because there are no fixed programs for students abroad. This document must be signed at the Institute of International Education;
  4. Motivation letter is a letter in which you need to explain your desire to study for an exchange at your chosen university;
  5. Language certificate – an official certificate confirming the level of proficiency in a foreign language (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge certificate, etc. or a certificate issued by an authorized person of the RSHU);
  6. A copy of a valid international passport.

The list of documents depends on the host university. Upon arrival at the university, the list of courses you have chosen may change. In this case, you need to draw up a new curriculum and re-sign it at the host university and RSMU.

RSHU is not responsible for documents and applications submitted directly to a foreign university, bypassing the Institute of International Education.

After receiving an invitation from a partner university you will need to apply for a student visa yourself. You can check the full list of documents and the time frame for their consideration at the diplomatic mission or visa application center of the country where you plan to study

Please note that in most cases you will need to apply for a dormitory reservation yourself after receiving confirmation of acceptance. The relevant information is posted on the official websites of partner universities.
