On April 29, 2024, a delegation from the Agency of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics of the Republic of Indonesia paid a visit to RSHU. During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the scientific and educational fields were discussed.

The Indonesian delegation was introduced to the exhibition at the Museum of the Polar Academy Institute. The rector of RSHU, Valery Leonidovich Mikheev, delivered a welcome speech. In response, the head of the delegation from the Agency of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics of the Republic of Indonesia, Dwi Budi Sutrisno, greeted the attendees.

Igor Gennadievich Myasnikov, the director of the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation, presented nine areas of cooperation in the scientific field and talked about ongoing scientific projects at the university.

Alexander Vitalievich Sukharev, the director of Institute of International Education, provided information on the current educational programs at the university and discussed collaboration in the educational field.

The participants exchanged views on the discussed topics and outlined plans for further cooperation in the scientific and educational spheres.
